Funded by the 5th Framework programme in 2001. The aim of the project was to develop an effective network, to identify common themes and issues, to improve understanding of different systems and responses and also to establish an agenda for future collaboration.
There were three conferences, held in Aosta, Uppsala and Edinburgh with presentations and workshops about similarities and differences in legislation, policy framework, working procedures and recent research going on in partner countries.
